8th Annual Chesapeake Bay Motoring Festival- June 9, 2024. The Kent Island Yacht Club, Chester, MD.

Originally organized as a casual get together, the CBMF has expanded to 70 concours entries, plus a tour and luncheon on Saturday. On display were two Model J Duesenbergs, plus the 1930 V16 Cadillac which had won Best Of Show at the Greenwich Concours the previous weekend. The Best Of Show was a 1928 Cadillac Dual Cowl Phaeton. Owned by the entrant since 1971 was a 1966 Hertz Shelby GT350, which had been purchased for $1000 dollars and used for almost 20 years as a daily driver. A Rod Emory 356 Speedster Outlaw and a drop-door BMW Z1 were on the field alongside a beautiful selection of antique fiberglass and wooden boats.
