Classic Car Club of America Tour, September 17, 2024
What with the beautiful scenery and fine roads here in Northern Virginia hunt country, on any given day we see groups of interesting cars pass through. Last week a CCCA tour stopped for a brief layover at the National Sporting Library in Middleburg. With the exception of a late-1940’s Delahaye Type 135 Cabriolet, all of the cars were of the pre-WWII era. I saw a couple of 1920’s Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts, plus a late-’30’s Rolls Phantom III V12. Also in the group was an Auburn roadster, several Packards and Cadillacs, and an extremely rare Duesenberg SJ convertible sedan.
