About Dave

Since 1968, Dave Olimpi has been indeed fortunate to be able to combine business with pleasure.

His long association with Ferrari has taken him on visits to the Factory in Maranello, Italy. For several years, Dave has been privileged to be a national concours judge for the Ferrari Club Of America, participating in such noteworthy events as the Cavallino Classic and Concorso Italiano. In 2017, Dave participated as a judge at the 70th Anniversary celebration of Ferrari in Maranello, Italy, and at the Ferrari Division of Pebble Beach Concours. He also serve as the Chief Judge for the St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance in St Michaels, MD, and Classic Sports Sunday at Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, FL.

It was exciting to work behind the scenes as the Ferrari consultant for the William Livingston documentary film The Italians. Dave occasionally contribute articles to publications such as Sports Car Market and Ferrari Market Letter.

Dave has always had a passion for motor racing. The highlight of his first trip to Europe in 1970 was attending the Gran Prix of Monaco. From 1972 until 1977 he held a professional competition driver’s license, and raced Porsches at Sebring, Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, and Mid-Ohio.

His interest in photography can be seen on these pages—Dave personally photographs each vehicle listed for sale.

Since establishing his consulting business in 1996, Dave has had the opportunity to serve clients in a personal manner that encourages long-term relationships. He looks forward to making you a life-long customer.
